  • Served as President of the Society for Asian American Graduate Affairs at Cornell: (i) coordinated community events for Asian and Asian American students at Cornell and other minority groups in collaboration with other organizations, (ii) participated in the organization of the annual university- wide diversity ball in collaboration with other organizations in the Graduate School Diversity Council.

  • Served as President of the German Studies Graduate Student Association at the University of Georgia: (i) organized weekly German conversation hours for students, (ii) oversaw monthly German film screenings for undergraduate students in the language program, (iii) represented graduate students in the department in faculty meetings.
